Complete Diagnostics may be scheduled to run automatically during non-business hours by your System Administrator.
If you choose to take advantage of the optional Auto Diagnostics feature, we recommend you set this up to run weekly.
This regular maintenance refreshes indexes for optimum speed and can identify any record issues due to possible system storage events.
Be sure to check with your practice's System Administrator before setting up Auto Diagnostics to avoid interruption of other scheduled processes.
The Advantage program must be closed on all stations prior to executing the AUTO DIAG command.
This command performs a Complete Diagnostics and re-indexes the data tables (like running Diagnostics with Index Only unchecked).
The Diagnostics Log which prints after standard diagnostics is re-directed to the file AUTODIAG.LOG.
