ExpressBill is a service from Change HealthCare (formerly Emdeon).
Statements and recalls are created in an electronic format through functions in your Compulink software.
The ExpressBill service transmits the data, then prints and mails customizable, professional recalls and account statements to your patients.
Like electronic insurance claims, this option is a time and money saver for your practice.
They offer a very rapid turnaround on processing your statements.
There is no need to purchase forms and your staff is relieved of the task of printing, stuffing, sealing and stamping statements.
Existing ExpressBill users who are transferring to the Compulink software must complete all new paperwork.
ExpressBill accounts not used after a 5 month period become 'dead' accounts and require that the Request for Services be filled out again.
Click on Product Support > Partner Products > Emdeon ExpressBill > Request Setup of Emdeon ExpressBill Services Now
An enrollment package is provided to your office for review and completion.
Some forms are returned to Compulink and some are sent directly to ExpressBill.
These forms can be filled out electronically or printed and completed.
Your Compulink representative will assist you with this process.
To include your Practice Logo:
There is a place on the Request for Services form where you can indicate that you would like to include your logo.
Send your logo as a .JPG file to your Compulink Implementation Coordinator who will forward it to ExpressBill.
Change HealthCare will provide a statement sample for your review, including the logo if applicable.
Once you approve the sample, a test batch of statements is created and sent.
Change Healthcare maps that and sends samples to client via secure portal for approval.
Client approves samples and can start sending live batches.
Your Compulink Representative will schedule an installation appointment once we receive your Account Number and Password from ExpressBill.
We will assist you with extracting the required ExpressBill files into your Advantage folder and setting up the XComm communication software.
We will also assist you in making sure the information you expect to appear on your statement is entered correctly in the software, for example, your letterhead and statement messages. Statement Sample
